After LeBron James did that “Decision” TV show extravaganza, someone burned one of his jerseys on one of Cleveland’s streets. I read that James responded thus: “I can’t get involved in that. I wanted to do what was best for LeBron James.”
That makes James the one millionth athlete to refer to himself in the third person. Readers, please don’t refer to yourselves in the third person. Me or I are perfectly fine. When James and other egomaniac knuckleheads do this third-person thing they make themselves sound like corporations. Come to think of it, that’s exactly what James is, a corp. LeBron Inc.

Try to make it short-but whats wrong with the media? Its LeBron-not joe average. He’s a celebrity, the reason why they hang on his every word as they complain they hang on his every word. I get it..wasn’t bothered a bit how he did it. Showmanship.

MJ
When one does it because they are ego maniacs, its stupid, but I believe Bo Jackson (or Danny Tartabull cant remember which) did it because they had a stuttering problem, especially with saying “I”, and therefore I can excuse it a bit. But Prince James is an ego maniac, the size of which we havent seen. 7 years and not one ring and all this attention, if Kobe was a f/a tomorrow would it gather this much hype? I hardly doubt it. When does potential turn into missed opportunity and failure?
