Do you think Brett Favre is a jerk?

I don’t. I also didn’t have a problem with Lebron’s “The Decision” press conference, other than its boringness. I totally disagree with my dad on both of these.

My guess is if you hated the Decision press conference, you think Brett Favre is a jerk for retiring and unretiring again and again.

Maybe it’s a generational thing. I just cannot get mad at James or Favre, especially Favre. He’s demonstrating his fame. He has the ability to turn the sports world on his head whenever he wants, and he can’t resist doing that. If I were in his position I wouldn’t be able to resist either.

The Packers tried to force Brett Favre to retire a few years ago when he could still play. They tried to show that no one is bigger than the team, even Favre in Green Bay, and when a team wants to move on, a player must oblige for the sake of decorum.

Brett Favre said forget that, I’m bigger than the Packers. In fact, I’m bigger than the entire sport. I will demonstrate that every year and I will be treated accordingly. I respect that.
