I’m posting my Tuesday column on the Giants World Series victory, their first in San Francisco, their first since 1954 in New York. Talk about a long time.

I wrote this column with pleasure. Winning the Series means a heck of a lot to Northern California. The way this particular team won was inspiring and, in its way, deep. Tim Lincecum was amazing Monday night and so was Edgar Renteria, the Series MVP. At one time you wondered if Renteria even would make the postseason roster. Anyway, my column deals with a lot of stuff including a bit of Giants history. To read it click here.
