In an explosive development I just tweeted on my twitter, the Cohn Zohn has learned exclusively that Stanford University has offered to change its name to Harbaugh University if Jim Harbaugh agrees to remain as head coach.

And that’s not all.

If Harbaugh stays, Stanford will throw in a new football-only dining facility featuring chefs from around the world. They will call this facility Harbaugh Hall.

And that’s not all.

If Harbaugh stays, Stanford will drop the nickname Cardinal for its football team. From now on the team will be called Harbaugh.

And that’s not all.

If Harbaugh stays, the mayor of Palo Alto has agreed to change the name of that exclusive hamlet to Harbaugh and the surrounding area will be known as Harbaugh Hills.

It is not known if California also will change its name to Harbaugh. Governor Brown is considering it. I’ve heard he’s not a football fan and that may gum up the works.
