As I mentioned, someone will read Kathy Hoskins’ testimony to the jury first thing Monday morning. The jury clearly is interested in this. The defense wanted the jury to disregard Hoskins. No such luck.

I find it puzzling that Bonds left the courthouse and everyone had to wait for him to return before the judge addressed the issue of the Hoskins’ testimony in open court. Bonds is still a pretty arrogant guy to just leave court before court tells him to leave.

A friend of mine at foxsports.com gave me selected quotes from Kathy Hoskins’ testimony so I can post them, so you can see what Bonds and his dream team of defense lawyers are up against. Here goes:

Kathy Hoskins said she was in Bonds’ bedroom packing his clothes for a road trip in 2002 when she witnessed Bonds and his trainer, Greg Anderson, enter the room.

“Barry was like, ‘Let’s do it right here,’” Hoskins told jurors in U.S. District Court. “He just lifted his shirt.”

When Anderson seemed apprehensive because of Hoskins’ presence, she said Bonds told the trainer, “This is Katie. She’s my girl.” Then, she said, “Greg shot him in the belly button.”

Afterward, Hoskins recalled that Bonds said, “That’s a little somethin’ somethin’ for when I go on the road. You can’t catch it, you can’t detect it.” She said she did not know what was in the syringe.
