So far no decision in the Bonds trial. The jury is scheduled to knock off today at 3:30.

If this were a sporting event I’d wonder — just asking — which is the home team and which is the visitors.

What’s the mood in the jury room?

If they get close to a decision today can they go into extra innings?

Waiting for a jury verdict is one of the most excruciating things in life (and makes me wonder why I do it for a living.) Being on the outside, you have no clue as to who is the home team and who is the visitor. You can try to interpret the jury’s questions that come to the judge but many times it will come out that what you thought they were thinking was never on their minds. A jury verdict? Extremely hard to fathom at times; a seemingly random event with zero predictability. This is why over 90% of things settle, you have some control over the process.
