I was alerted to this whopper on Tim Kawakami’s blog — thanks, Tim and I hope you’re enjoying Super Bowl Sunday. TK linked to a Sunday article in the SF Chronicle explaining that the heirs of Franklin Mieuli wanted to cash out their five percent share of the Niners after Franklin died two years ago. But the Mieulis and York have gaping differences in what they believe the Niners are worth, and that drastically affects what the Yorks want to fork over to the Mieulis. IMHO…the York Ownership is cheap, petty, & dishonest…Mark my words, in the next decade or so the Yorks will go the way of our dearly departed Eddie DeBartolo, except the Yorks won’t be so beloved…
