On the ground ball that Castro thought was the third out, when there were only two outs, the radio guys (I was alone, so I watched and listened to my earphones) said that part of the blame belonged to Samardzija, the Cubs pitcher, for throwing so many balls. The radio guys said that he lessened the concentration of the defense. What do you think? Would you relieve Castro of some of the blame? On the Caltrain rides up and back the train was full of kids. It was wonderful. It was such a pleasant day at the ballpark. I have a younger sister who ran a preschool in Vienna, Va for many years. Both my brother and sister live outside Philly. My dad and mom were proud I became a sports columnist, were very supportive. I enter that I'm 66 years old. Yesterday, I pedaled hard for 35 minutes. I burned about 180 calories and went about 14 miles. Then I did a five minutes cool down. I would like to get to an hour soon.
