The A’s don’t seem able to get much in the way of good publicity these days. A’s players have expressed anger that the team designated Kila Ka’aihue for assignment a few days before his wife is due to deliver twins. I don’t think Ka”aihue has played well, but most of the A’s haven’t played well. This act seems cold. On the other hand, baseball is a business and maybe the A’s don’t and should not concern themselves with a player’s family situation. What do you think? A’s management doesn’t care about fans, why should players matter? And would also like to see sportswriters like yourself put more heat on John Fisher. When the Haas family owned the team they spent money, were a big part of the Oakland community and the A’s filled the place. It was still a dump but Mr. Haas appreciated the fans, treated the players well and thew atmosphere at A’s games was lively and loud. Fisher is a terrible owner and needs to be called out for it and people like you should be reminding folks of what Oakland baseball was like under a good owner.

Beane let his facade down on 95.7. He was insulting Townsend..who moments before was defending the ownership group.
Beane likes to backstabb…Kila,Ray Fosse, Townsend. Like I say, he’s the sole member of the NAABP..National Association for the Advancement of Beane People. Beane is the epitome of bad sportmanship, and bad sports morals.

Apparently Melvin gave Kila Ka’aihue the assurance that he was safe, then the A’s front office sent him down. It totally castrates any pull Melvin could portray. Also, if you really want to get angry, listen to Wolff’s interview on 95.7 today. This ownership is just killing the fans in the East Bay!
Lowell, how come no one in the media can get Fischer to do an interview?

This issue aside, the sooner the As take their sorry act out of the Bay Area the better. Everything about this team – except the players – is a black hole. Hold firm Giants – no way, San Jose.

If you listen to THEGAME Lowell, you hear they are buzzing about Wollf’s claim..that “If we spent 30-50 million it would be like buying the World Championship”..well,duh. Isn’t that called professional sports?
See,I think Beane’s angry rant at Townsend is because nobody is buying into ANY of malarkey the A’s owners and GM are selling..none of it When they bought the A’s..they proclaimed themselves to be the 4or 5th wealthiest group in Baseball.
WHO with any sense of reality is thinking that John Fisher cant afford a team?…OR how is it,if they are drawing down his wealth… why would they refuse to sell?
They wan it both ways.
Beane isn’t used to media challenging him and Townsend was a regular Mike Wallace to ask TWICE about Daric Barton.
We heard the real Beane..and its ugly.

I caught the repeat of the Wolff interview. Wolff has got his lies down to a near science. And when you catch him,pin him down, corner him..he pulls “The commissioner asked me not to talk about it”..He use it in place of “I take the fifth amendment right not to incriminate myself”
Teirney had him with no answer..and there went Lew with his cop out.

And then you have Wollf saying “Waiting for the commissioners decision” argument. Well,Wolfe says that Selig says it must be worked out between the Giants and A’s. The Giants and A’s owners cant agree..so that’s where Selig must make a decision..what a paradox huh?
And as far as Selig having results from the blue ribbon panel?..he’s not revealing. Now here’s the big liars are at work here…Lew Wolff who claims his existence is determined by the decision?..Says..no hurry..WHAT??? No,he defends Selig, compliments Selig for not doing his job!
I tell you all..this is a clear case of elitists like Wolff and Beane who are never in their world told no when they are wrong..thinking that their bald faced lies are believed by the public. Nobody give them a dose of reality…Wolff and Beane give interviews…and like Beane turning on Townsend or Wolff telling Brandon Teirney who caught Wolff in a explanation that made no sense “If you want to go over that again? Or should I just leave now?” Wolff reaction, classic big-shot.
Exposed.
