ESPN is reporting that Mike Leake will start Game 4 today for the Reds. It makes sense. This way Mat Latos will get another day of rest and pitch Game 5 on Thursday if there is a Game 5.
Personal note: This trip reminds me why I’m not a baseball writer. To be a baseball writer is to live in your own personal time zone. I finished writing last night about midnight Eastern Time. I looked for a place to eat. Too late. It’s now almost noon here and I have to shower and go to the ballpark. I’ll buy a cookie from the hotel shop. That will be breakfast.
