I am in  the press box at AT&T Park and every time I look at the TV I see the Niners are behind. Would some of you be so kind to tell me what happened, what went wrong for the 49ers, what was the key to the game, etc.

Alex Smith: 3 interceptions. That’s really all you need to know, Lowell.

The 49ers were systematically dismantled by a better team…

The 49er front 7 were manhandled by the Giants offensive line. Bradshaw ran for more than 100 yards…Eli wasn’t sacked and was rarely hurried.

Once they got behind…alex smith started to press and threw 3 picks on his side of the field…

Harbaugh kept running Kaepernick out there for a play or two with limited success…

Veteran sideline reporter said she got “Harbaughed” when she asked him routine questions at the half…

Doesn’t appear that Harbaugh knows who his quarterback is…

They didn’t play against a bunch of tomato cans, that’s what happened? Niners fans are some of the worst about getting super high when their “heroes” pummel a team full of dish rags, thinking such victories mean they’re “elite”, when it’s just fortunate scheduling (like, um, say, the whole of last season). Then they give up 150+ on the ground.

That Alex Smith, he’s sure redeemed himself, huh? Great against weak teams while his team is rolling, yet a bigger liability than a underwater mortgage when shirts get tight.

The team was rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic the whole afternoon.

Santa Clara got murdered because they played a good team. If Carson Palmer was the Niners QB, they’d be 5-0….he wouldn’t be overthrowing his recievers who are wide open by 5 yards like Alex is. There will be a new QB leading the Santa Clara 49ers in 2013…thats for sure.
