Here is the opening to my column about Marco Scaturo a day after he got blitzed:

ST. LOUIS — Marco Scutaro is a media star. Bring on the paparazzi and put in a call to Wolf Blitzer.

Scutaro is famous because Matt Holliday blasted him Monday night when Holliday broke up a double play and in the process almost broke up Scutaro. It was a lion taking down a prawn. Scutaro got revenge when he busted open the game with a fourth-inning single that cleared the bases, the third run scoring after Holliday booted the sharply hit ball.

All of that makes Scutaro a media star until the Giants and Cards play the next game, and someone or something else takes center stage.
