Lots of Zohn readers have taken issue with my position that the Niners should make the transition from Smith to Kaepernick right now. Fine. This blog exists for polite, cordial discussion and disagreement. So I have some questions for the people who disagree with me. Do you think Smith still should start, if he’s healthy, of course, because:

1. He is better than Kaepernick.

2. The team will do better with him than Kaepernick this season.

3. You are loyal to Smith because he is a nice guy.

4. Some other reason I have not accounted for.
