I came down with a whopper the other day — the full bronchial infection, temperature, runny nose, the works. I’m currently pumped up with antibiotics to cure a horse. I am sitting in the press box in Seattle, Purdy on my left, Grant on my right. I am vaguely aware of them. The players warm up on the field. This is a lovely stadium with the unfortunate name of CenturyLink. I can’t help noticing it is in downtown Seattle. Ballparks belong downtown. I expect this to be a fierce, hard-fought game. Both teams need a win and both teams are very good. I’m picking the Niners with each team scoring 20 something. I’ll get back to you later after the extra strength Tylenol kick in.
