Several readers have asked if I am going to New Orleans for the Super Bowl. Grant and I will not be covering the Super Bowl or Super Bowl Week. Mrs. Cohn Zohn is having surgery next week and we will, of course, be with her. The Press Democrat is very understanding, and is sending fine writers to cover the events.

man thats tough…….I’m not really looking forward to this Harbaugh dominated Super Bowl and thought that you and Grant covering the game together was going to be the coolest part of it…..but family always comes first. Hope all goes smoothly for Mrs. Cohn which I’m sure it will.

Whatever article you don’t write is already funnier and savvier than the one which will appear. I think we, your fans, and Mrs. Cohn Zohn and Grant fans all have a little lump in our collective throats. We are thinking of you all and wishing Mrs. Cohn Zohn the very best.
