Two young guys that hopefully have not come close to reaching their potential and a veteran for insurance and guidance for the young guys. Competition is a great motivator. August 26th, 2013 3:16 pm Dr. Feelgood My take- Seneca is cut, if not this week, next. He arrived too late to make any kind of impact, and really, what impact could he make? McCoy is indeed the backup. He has experience, albeit with mixed reviews, and has the lions share of reps with the starters. BJ has to make the team. He has no experience but he brings a gift for making plays that can’t be ignored. He is a football player. Cut him and there’s no way he isn’t claimed. Cut Seneca and maybe, but only maybe, another team grabs him. August 26th, 2013 4:28 pm Stan It was here that I posted over a week ago ” Why is he (Tolzien) even on the roster?” . August 26th, 2013 6:30 pm Bob In Portland Wallace will be cut, but he’s auditioning in case the Niners need to dig deep for a QB during the season. August 26th, 2013 7:45 pm Streetglide He was on the roster stan because he is a very decent QB. He’ll land somewhere and be fine… August 27th, 2013 6:45 am Brett I agree with Dr. Feelgood. Lets see if we are right.
