In my Monday column about the Giants, twice I wrote that the Dodgers had no outs in the top of the 5th when Dee Gordon scored from third on an Adrian Gonzalez strikeout. The Dodgers had one out. I corrected the mistake on my blog, but when I phoned the paper late Sunday the editors had left for the night. My bad. It was my first column after a month vacation. Maybe I should have taken a rehab assignment.

Swing your pen in the cage for a few days, you’ll be alright.

No biggie, it’s only baseball. And there are 297 games each year so a whiff once in a while means el zippo. It’s nice to see you back. But the Niners are calling friend, don’t resist, it’s futile… ;- )

The only one who needs to issue a Mea Culpa is the Giants who make us watch that slop.
