To the best of my knowledge — sometimes my knowledge  isn’t the best — the 49ers have not sent out a press release announcing Mangini as DC or Chryst as OC. Nor have they held a news conference to introduce the new coordinators. I don’t find this bad or wicked or anything like that. I just find it unusual.
