As you know I’ve been feeling poorly lately. So I’ve been reading memoirs. Love memoirs. Just finished “Elsewhere” by the fine novelist Richared Russo, a memoir about him and his mother. Wondeful.

I also love Philip Roth’s memoir of his dad called “Patrimony,” have read it several times.

Can’t get enough of “This Boy’s Life” by Tobias Wolff.

But the best ever memoir — at least to me — is “Act One” by Moss Hart. What book.
