Great column! Logarithms Lowell,, come on. Don’t ever use a math analogy. You think real numbers are jargon if you have a problem with logarithms!
It should be pretty simple: If Harden is making his shots you lock him down and make him pass the ball. If he isn’t making his shot you let him shoot and shoot and keep on shooting. Without Harden scoring this team doesn’t score very much. I am think sweep.
I remember earlier in the year when we had a discussion here about Harden coming to the Warriors after this season. I said it then—he would be a terrible fit with the others on the Warriors. That’s still the case.
In this series (and in others to come) my major fear is that the mugging of Curry will get more intense and result in injury. Maybe Kerr has an answer to that.
I’m no Harden fan — can’t stand him, as a matter of fact — but to be fair, he did average 7.5 assists to Curry’s 6.7, albeit in almost four more minutes per game.
