Rockets interim head coach J.B. Bickerstaff spoke before today’s game. Unusual for a playoff coach to be interim. Someone asked if he’s in awe of the Warriors and their 73. He said:

“You just can’t afford to. Simple as that. If you want to have any success, you have to look at them just like any other opponent. They have weaknesses we have to try to exploit. We have strengths we need to  play to. From what’s happened in the regular season for us to this point now doesn’t matter. It’s 0-0 in the series. It’s 0-0 in the first game and that’s the way we’re approaching it. It’s the only way you can. If not,  you’ll get overwhelmed by the 73 wins and all the great things they’ve done. So for us that just doesn’t matter. It’s a blank slate for both teams.
