Click here for my Monday column about the implications of Curry missing Game 2.
I am thinking that the Warriors, without Curry, are still better than the Rockets with everybody, especially at home. I would rest him.
1 game’s rest, especially since it is game 2 of the series, is an ounce of prevention that will be worth a pound of cure because if Curry plays in a hobbled condition, the ankle injury, regardless of how severe, only will become more grave.
Warriors have to realize that these series can extend into June and have to see the big picture. Better to sit one game now than to miss extensive play down the road.
