I’m no Westbrook fan (far from it) but I’m not sure was ‘scoffing’ at Curry. It almost seemed to me as if he couldn’t believe he was being asked to compliment Curry. You can see how that might rub someone the wrong way. (Durant’s subsequent response, however, was indeed damning with faint praise. No two ways about it.) I agree with everything else, though. Curry and Thompson are the best. The Warriors did what champions do. No way they lose game seven. And I’ll guarantee you one thing: when they pulled game six out of the fire Saturday night, the Cavs all said “Uh oh.”
The difference between these two teams comes down to who is making the open shots and who is missing them. In the last two games the Warriors were making theirs and the Thunder weren’t. Just the opposite of games 3 and 4.
I look for Draymond in game 7. If he makes his shots in the first quarter the game is over. Otherwise Curry or Thompson need to go off in the 4th for them to win.
