“Kaepernick’s elevator going down” How do you go down from the bottom floor? Watching him play was like “deja vu all over again”. Picked right up were he left off – running for his life. Not a very pretty sight.
As bad as it was they won’t cut him. They would still owe him the 13 mil. He becomes a back up until they can find some one willing to work out a trade.
They’ve gotta find a way to IR him.
If they leave him on the roster and make him the emergency guy, he’ll figure out some way to cut his finger on a clipboard and they’ll be stuck with him for another season with grievous injuries that require time in the hyperbaric chamber in Aspen.
It was as predictable as it gets dark at night that Kaps surly attitude with local media would get him when he faded as a player. He fell into the “Be good to people on the way up,because you will meet those same people on the way down”..and his short happy spell this year is too little too late.
Look at Lincecum…writers treat him like a wounded puppy. “He will get well, bless little Timmy”. lol,I know everything…
Kap is a coach killer, they need to cut their losses with him and dump him. He adds no value to the team.
I just read that Kaepernick is refusing to stand for the National Anthem. I wonder if they can suspend him without pay for conduct unbecoming of an NFL player. That would solve a lot of problems.
According the Chron earlier this week he also posted (then removed) a pic of the Confederate Flag and the American Flag noting that there’s no difference between the two (paraphrasing, he actually wrote it more inflammatory). He’s as socially immature as he is on the field, a serious case of arrested development. I didn’t have a lot of respect left for him as a player, and he’s now a total zero as a person.
I respect free speech and people taking a stand. But I don’t consider what he’s said, how he’s said it and why he says he said it to be courageous. I think it’s the continued attempt to appear politically correct while being utterly unwilling to have the difficult but truly necessary conversations about race in this country.
We will see how long it will take the NFL to step in and show him how the bear goes through buckwheat. There is no way they can allow any player to protest anything on their stage. We will then see how much courage this idiot has when they start taking away his paychecks.
The irony here is that there is no other country in the entire world where a dumb a$$ like him could make 13 mil per year with his skill set.
CK would do a lot better if his activism centered on getting his fellow male athletes to stop abusing women and fathering children out of wedlock. Children born to single mothers is an epidemic in this country, and you can’t have these kinds of percentages of adolescents from broken families running around at record rates without disastrous consequences. In the meantime, male athletes are too often the culprits, but I’m guessing according to CK that’s the government’s fault too. He and others could make a big and important stand and do a better job of staying in their own lanes by standing up for male athletes to respect women and do their part in controlling single mother births. I’m tired of these people “standing up” but not really wanting to have the conversations that need to be had.
Since Colin likes to take stands by sitting down, has anyone wondered why he didn’t stand up and talk out loud about injustice when his own teammates were arrested for raping and battering women?
Why he didn’t talk to or about Ray McDonald and Bruce Miller???
Or is it the government’s fault they assaulted women?
BTW- I Tweeted Tim Kawakami something similar to the above, and he blocked me. Guess CK’s 1st Amendment rights amount to more than mine on his timeline.
His mother is white. So,that pretty much ends any of his all white people are racists agenda.
Yes,I can name a bigillion instances of modern bigotry.
Only,Its over Kap. I don’t think for one second he would do that if he was the starter. He had his chance with Harbaugh to be “social critic”..and he passed at the opportunity to sit at the Super Bowl anthem.
Never crossed his mind.
“His mother is white. So,that pretty much ends any of his all white people are racists agenda.”
I see. So if someone has a white parent, how in the hell can anybody else white be racist?
Congratulations old Stinky Stan. You win the moron of the day award.
What are you babbling about? Look, “Chauncy X” your fake black man act is so racist itself you must have some deep seated problems to continue to embarrass yourself with hypocrisy.
Oof,he says he wont stand all season. Just what you want on a Super Bowl year-lol. Well,I think he knows that’s not a worry…
Check out all the old white bigots below. Too funny.
