What a great win! Too bad there’s the whole ‘might leave town again’ cloud hanging over everything they accomplish. Oh, well. Just enjoy it, I suppose. Oh, and speaking of tackle eligible, they didn’t get whistled for any illegal formations this week. Definite progress.
I wrote about how sad it is to see in the eastbay, cars of 49ers flags, red or burgundy and that damn SUV with the big 49er decal covering the whole back window. I wrote that 2 years ago on my little blog.
The 49er flags are gone. The red SUV with the giant 49er decal- incognito with the human race.
I SEE RAIDER FLAGS.
If Mark Davis moves the Raider out of Oakland,he should be drawn and quartered, boiled, fed to pigs that will be drawn and quartered a week later, and their heads stuck on steel spikes outside the Oakland city sign,Game of Thrones like.
All done humanely and rated pg (or p.i.g) of course. I dont want to get uncivil.
Build him a state of the art stadium that he doesn’t have to share with a baseball team, and I’m sure he’d be willing to consider staying.
they have offered davis as much as 300 million to assist the build….the raiders have 300 million from the NFL to build here, the team? The capped their investment via PSL and naming rights at 300 mill, meaning not cash on hand but those two metrics being raised based on a deal—nothing wrong with that, it is just a misnomer to suggest they, have 500 mill cash on hand.
If mark is smart, he works it out, if he isn’t, goodbye.
Carr’s plodding feet need work…but he throws a football like a guided missile. Where he aims- it goes.
I might have been a bit slow to come around on the guy..but he’s looking Stablerish by the week.
I can’ say I agree with you on Carr’s feet. Carr’s play last night was far more mature than how he played against Denver last year, and his best passing plays came from stepping up in the pocket or rolling out. His pocket awareness and footwork evading the rush and keeping his eyes downfield are his most improved areas this year.
Great time for the Raiders to find a punishing running game! I am not surprised by the win but am very pleasantly surprised by the manner in which it came about and the total dominance. Great win, the best since the Gannon years!
An exclamation point- Broncos time of possession was only 18 minutes! Big key to wearing down that defense. They said on the broadcast it was the shortest TOP since 1978!
It was such a pleasure to see a road grader offensive line execute so well.
I have no doubt it made Otto, Shell, and Upshaw proud.
Watching the linebackers swarm was a revelation.
Can we see another AFC Championship in Foxboro?
lets have it in oakland.
