Don’t sell McGloin short. He might not be Derek Carr, but he’s more than ‘just a guy’. Merry Christmas!
Blame Mark Davis. Its his fault 100%.
Christmas is overrated!
ah, ok Merry Christmas…silver bells…
Little Marky Davis got a lump of coal in his stockings.
Its just plain out going to suck to watch the Raiders fall flat on their faces. Yes,the rest of the team might give it the old college try, especially on defense….but they cant go anyplace without Carr since they stalled out when Pryor and rest were pre Carr at QB.
You all remember that Raider offense. 3 and out.
Wow… Good read… It’s nice to see the human aspect brought to light. .. Real people. .. Playing a ruthless game. ..
JDR getting a lot of love from the usual pack of subservient sports media. Not one wanting to know why Carr was even in the game at 33-14..or passing at the very least.
Same for Carr..see this is how stupid that kid can be…he’s trying to make a play thats broken down into something. This is where he and Tom Brady diverge. Brady just throws the ball away when he see’s doom.
Carr? stood there like human bait for sharks.
As evidenced time and time again, the Raider defense tends to wear down in games, yielding more and more points late in games. If the offense can’t hold on to the ball for any length of time, this will happen sooner than later. Keep in mind they will be facing the likes of Tom Brady, Ben Roethlisberger and Alex Smith etc. (his stats are very good) in the playoffs. Yes their defense is very good. But take a look at what players like Cam Newton did to them late in the game, then look at what Brady and Roethlisberger did to a top 3 D in a Baltimore team.
Yes they have a shot. But at this point it is not a good one.
Dracula…had…no…home. The Raiders have… no shot. I’m going to wince in pain when Matty tosses pick6’s,drops the ball on his own goal line…overthrows somebody streaking down the field wide open.
To top it all off? When Chubby Matt starts huffing and puffing..then pulls his Mcloin muscle from running 8 yards.
That’s the topper
Let me tell you – that vid of Carr shouting its broke, its broke? Better then waking up to his finances and “I’m broke!,I’m broke!” any day.
My thought for today.
I thought that was dumb to edit the sound because it looked like Carr was crying and how can you edit that out?
Raiders, one and done playoffs if they lose in Denver. How’s the weather in Denver, cold and snowing?
Well,I guess you could say I called it to a “T”. McGloins overthrew a receiver streaking down the filed wide open,as I said he would. Matty also got hurt…like I said he would. And the game was never in doubt like I said.
Nice to see people are posting “You were right 100% again Stan”. That’s what I like about the internet – people are quick to tell me that.
See> This is what gets me about the sports media and net. I was practically clairvoyant in my Denver-Raider game call. I told McGloin would get hurt even 48 hours before it happened.
I do that pretty often too. But does the host say “Nice call Stan” ? Nah.
When does the local media ever give credit when its due to blogger types? BUT! they want you to know when they get it right! Reminders all week.
So ,back at them.
