The Raiders sent out a news release yesterday with lots of names in it. The names form the new personnel dept. for the Raiders. In a sense, the word “new” is not accurate. In the past, the Raiders did not have a personnel dept. They had a bunch of guys writing reports for Al Davis and he made all the decisions. Now the Raiders have a real dept. with division of labor. This is another way they are entering the modern era, and this is good.
