Alex Smith sacked on his first third-down play today. Has anything changed? I’m just asking.

Short answer: no, the offensive line still has below average pass protection ability.

The 49ers are looking shockingly anemic in this game on both sides of the ball. I know it’s preseason, but one would think they’d be getting it together by now.

What a contrast between a cool Manning..and a stiff Smith.

Harbaugh wish’s that he had sent a Victoria’s secret model to haggle with Manning, instead of his own off putting personality.

If anyone knows about off-putting personality, it is our dear friend Stan. Yeah, the Niners didn’t look so hot. OL stinks again, we really miss Bowman and Aldon. Kinda scary…

Through 3 practice games this summer, the 49ers are 14 for 41 on 3rd down and today were OH for the game again in the Red Zone. Nothing new or improved in these categories despite the horrendous stats in last year’s games. One thing that Harbaugh did prove today is that Akers still can kick (5-5). Starting defense did look like swiss cheese vs. Peyton Manning who Harbaugh evaluated but did not pursue as his starting QB!!!!!!! Niners looked very vulnerable at cornerback spots, especially since pass rush did not appear to be very good w/o Smith, etc.

Sure street, and who are you?..besides,how stupid can it be to take a shot at somebody who says Manning is better then Smith?..and all my other truths..
You need remedial football and posting courses.

Isn’t this the same Alex Smith that you criticized on AUG 23rd for not trying
to hit Moss deep on a play that he tried to hit Davis short and missed.

    “Has anything changed?”

    Not yet.

Hey Stan, speaking of knowing your quarterbacks and who is good and who is not, I read that Vince Young is available, yet again.
