Warriors general manager Bob Myers met the media Thursday in a brand new, glass-enclosed conference room at the Warriors downtown Oakland facility. Here is the opening of the column I wrote from our Q & A. I mostly stay out of it and let Myers talk for himself:

I don’t figure much in this column. The Warriors made general manager Bob Myers available to the media for an hour Thursday morning. Myers, who often begins an answer with gosh or gee, answered all questions about the state of the team. I share the Q&A with you:

Q: How do you feel about what the Warriors did in the offseason?

A: Hmm. I keep getting asked that. I finally settled on a response which is, ask me at the end of the season. I hope it all fits together. We certainly improved the roster but how it all works is to be determined.

Beidrens knows he has to be luckiest man in Latvia. Paid for no efforts and no apologies for that. And -his bosses do make the excuses for him..even as they see the money circle the whirlpool down the drain.
btw Lowell, I have come to the conclusion that Bentleys are driven by:
    A: pro Athletes
    B. Rich old white men
    C. Drug dealers
    D. and..Pornographers.

    Bogut is still hurt.

    Curry still has glass ankles.

Biedrins is still an absent $18 million a year tax evading, stiff with a budding career on you tube.

What is there to be optimistic about again?

And,the Met’s have a pitcher who went from 8 win seasons to 20 at age 38. And the NY press doesn’t laugh in his face when he said its a matter of “mastering his craft”.
Melky and his handlers must have been dumb or numb to get caught..

Stan – “Bob? Lots of talk..lets see results.”

That pretty much sums it up. I din’t even bother reading the article because I share the same sentiment. I was more interested in the comments to see what others thought, which appearantly is not too much so far. If talking could win games the Warriors would have a lot of rings,
