Friday night, we had my birthday party at Chez Cohn Zohn. And thanks to all of you for wishing me a happy birthday. My stepson Brian came with his wife Carolyn and their little tiny kids Sam and Camila. Sam is two and a half and is very verbal and he kept saying something like particularly yogurt. I have no idea what that means but I think it’s very deep. If I write a book I may call it Particularly Yogurt. It’s up their with Hamlet.

I’ve always heard that it’s best to go with yogurt feeling.

Sorry, Mrs. Duck is trying to get me into the hot tub. Why am I resisting?

I was told that when I was two,After seeing an apple fall out of a tree?..I pondered then said, E=MC. Years later,at four, I found out it was E=mc2. I apologized.

This is off-topic, post or not as you wish. There’s a great new bagel shop called Beauty’s Bagels at 3838 Telegraph Ave, between 40th & 38th; Oakland; 510.788.609. They call them “Montreal-style bagels.” They are a little denser than most bagels I’ve had, are finished in a wood-burning stove and are absolutely fantastic. My favorites are the onion and the salt & pepper. I don’t know how they compare to New York bagels but these are very good. Closed Mondays.
