I’m covering the Raiders vs. Broncos Thursday night. I may have run out of ways to write about the Raiders. I mean, it’s the same story every week. Any ideas?

What would happen if Peyton Manning signed with the Raiders? They say his very presence, akin to Michael Jordan, rises all tides, demands effort, etc…

Which players would last and which would be called out by Manning and unceremoniously cut?

You can turn it into a drinking game. For every (Raiders) turnover you have to take a shot of whiskey and for every opponents score you need to drink a beer. every 25 yards passing against and 10 yards rushing against, take a sip of beer.

By then end it won’t matter because you will be passed out and won’t care how bad it is, nor will you be able to feel the pain.

How about you make a list of which players are still playing professional football and which ones have their bags already packed…
Then take the professionals and figure out if any of them can play…
For extra points you can award the Blake Costanzo Award to the one player who actually goes hard every down…

You took Greg Roman to task last week, how about doing same for Greg Knapp? I think he deserves it more.

The Raiders are the new Warriors.

Don’t write anything about Jon Gruden. Some guy named Hub Arkush started a rumor that Gruden was in talks about rejoining the Raiders, and people are losing their minds.
The guy brings this out the day after Allen’s father passes. Classy.

    What Jason said X 2.

Who knows, Pryor may play tomorrow night. You may have all you need to write about and don’t know it yet.

    1. Does Dennis Allen deserve to be coach next year
    2. What possesses a man to get a 7 year kid haircut like Mark Davis
    3. Whos the better “switchblade” player; Marcel Reece or Delanie Walker

Carson Palmer is no good. Write an article on Alex smith in silver and black with Knapp as his coordinator. It is a perfect match

Here’s a list of Raiders and the amount of money on their contracts, let by Darrell McFadden who is working on a 6 year contract with $60,013,750.

    http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/oakland-raiders/

Other than Carson Palmer (4 years, $43,000,000) & McFadden, the other top commitments are Tommy Kelly (defensive tackle), Darrius Heyward-Bey (WR), Richard Seymour (defensive tackle), Michael Huff (Safety) and Tyvon Branch (Safety). What’s your impression of how well these players are playing and the level of effort, commitment & desire they are displaying?

what Lowell? you mean you’ve ran out of ways to trash the late Al Davis for this years team’s lack of success……now that’s more unbelievable than the state of the Raiders.

Surely you joke? The 49ers are 2nd in their conference and you can’t stop riding the organization for every perceived failure. Under those standards the Raiders have certainly given you a lifetime of columns to write. I suggest you start with Reggie McKenzie and how this season is on him. And then just let it flow from there. Just take everything you ever wrote about the 49ers over the last two years and change the names to reflect the Raiders personnel and I would completely agree with you. You got this! It should be easy because it would be accurate.

The Raiders haven’t had a winning season in 10 years. A decade. That is mind boggling. There are so many questions to ask and things to write about. But I can see why it has become redundant and devoid of any interest anymore. Interestingly, I think they may keep it close against Elway and Manning.

What would Al think of the last 14 months? How would he judge his son’s handling of the team? You could break out all of your Brooklyn on it. Get into Character.

Food favorites in the stadium? Number of murders in Oakland during the game? Over or under the usual killings? Percentage of idiots in Halloween drag to other customers? Who will make the first penalty? Etc…

    Mark Davis’ haircut…..LOL! Very good.

For me, how do you further purge the roster? Seymour and Kelly are jokes….nothing left in the tank, just stealing money at this point. Give a short list of whom needs to stay….Palmer, McFadden? Very questionable. I like Carson Palmer but he appears to be a bad fit. McFadden can’t get healthy. Mckenzie confuses me. The purge started last year. How can anyone expect anything out of this team. It’s an obvious rebuild. Who should lead that.

That leads into this….has the team given up on the coach, and vice versa? It certainly appears as such from the outside. This team barely puts up any fight at all.

I would find it interesting if you wrote about what your expectations were when you asked for patience from the Raider fans and where the Raiders are now in relation to your expectations. It would be great if you could close it out with your opinion as to what the Raiders need to do going forward.

I promise right here and now not to disagree or argue with you because I really don’t care about the Raiders, but this is a very sad situation.

    Simple.

I listened to Madden this morning discuss the Raiders Hall of Fame reunion going on this week along with the presentation tonight at halftime…

Perhaps you have an opportunity to flex your doctorate a bit and write the seminal “A Tale of Two Raiders” masterpiece…

If its a “QB league”, what was the last decent QB draft by the Raiders – Marinovich?

Look into medical sites and try to understand how “high strain” turns into a month of sitting. And why the Raiders seeing McFadden pull this crap every year don’t push him on the field.
Yeah,I know..a bum like McFadden then sues in 2018 because “he was rushed back into play” …just idiotic how the rich cant even stand up to the rich .
