Everyone wants to meet the Golden State Warriors. That includes the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. They are staying at a hotel near the Warriors practice facility and they joined the media horde attending Warriors practice this morning. Were thrilled to be included.

There was Albert Pujols talking to Stephen Curry — and delighted to get the chance. Curry, of course, was gracious.

There was Pujols taking a jumper. He has good form but he doesn’t jump very high.

There was Mike Trout taking a jumper. He was in the Pujols category.

Curry and Draymond Green took it all in stride. They are gentlemen and, truth be told, they are a better team than the Angels — if you can compare sports. They made a big deal about the Angels.

There were upwards of 100 media people at the gym. The Warriors are big national news, the biggest sports new going. And it’s all about trying to win a record 73rd regular-season game Wednesday night at Oracle Arena. It would be interesting to see Curry play shortstop.
