Jonathan Sanchez is an up and down pitcher. Sometimes he’s terrific and sometimes he isn’t. Just before the trading deadline I wrote Brian Sabean should trade him for a hitter. Sabean didn’t.

Sanchez was very good in his previous start. He wasn’t today. He lasted 4 innings, threw a whopping 89 pitches and gave up 2 homers and lost the game.

I still say Sabean should have traded him for a hitter. What do you think?
