I was at the Oakland Coliseum Tuesday night to watch Toronto pitcher Brandon Morrow work. His last time out he had a no-hitter going with two out in the ninth before he gave up a single. He struck out 17 in that game. He’s a real talent and he’s from Rohnert Park and attended Rancho Cotate high school.

He didn’t do as well Tuesday night, seemed drained from the 137 pitches he threw in the near no-hitter. He lasted 4 innings and 80 pitches. To read my column about Morrow click here.
