I’m in the press box at Memorial Stadium watching Cal manhandle Davis — no surprise there. The surprise is Cal freshman wide receiver Keenan Allen in his first game ever as a Golden Bear. Zohners, believe me you rarely see a debut like this one. He has three TDs and now he’s out of this game — a blowout. He simply burst onto the scene. I will write my Sunday column about him as soon as this carnage ends.
