Mike Singletary graciously thanked Pete Carroll after the Seahawks ruined the Niners Sunday. “Today we are going to thank Pete Carroll and his staff,” Singletary graciously said. “It was good medicine for us.”

This is what we expect from Singletary — turning bad into good. His team will learn from this, he was saying. But Singletary’s words are meaningless. His team had all offseason to learn their lessons and they still came in flat, disorganized, unprepared and poorly coached.

Singletary’s words are hollow drivel. If there’s any thanking to be done it’s Carroll who should thank Singletary for making his Seattle debut so easy.
