I wrote my Sunday column on Barry Zito, human dud. I saw him pitch Saturday and he was awful, more awful even than Matt Cain was on Friday. The Giants had two chances to put away the San Diego Padres and failed twice, although they can complete the deed on Sunday.

There has been doubt about Zito. Like maybe he isn’t that bad after all. He is that bad. He couldn’t get past the third inning. He couldn’t keep the Giants in the game. He makes a lot of money but he doesn’t earn it. To read my column about Zito click here.
