I’m sitting here at the Niner game — Eagles up 10-7 early in the 2nd Q. Preliminary word seems to be that Madison Bumgarner will start Game 4 on Monday for the Giants. I don’t know this for sure, I’m far away from Atlanta. I think Bumgarner should start Game 4 and Tim Lincecum should start Game 5 on Wednesday in SF if needed. Lincecum never has pitched on 3 day’s rest and Bumgarner is mentally tough and he’s good and if they need Lincecum he’ll be rested on Wednesday. No need to panic and start Lincecum on Monday.
