A Zohn reader mentioned Barry Bonds in a recent response and that got me to thinking. I’m so glad he’s not around. I mean this postseason is fun to cover. The Giants players are friendly and approachable and they are good. They are not overshadowed by a superstar who also was a sourpuss. The vibe is so much better. Of course, no one on this team is better than Bonds. But with Bonds the Giants never won the World Series. Let’s see what this group can do. I’m so glad the other guy isn’t around.
