Here are assorted quotes from Aubrey Huff, the Giants unofficial spokesman, after the Giants won Game 4.

“We have a chance to do it here would be great. We have our gun going tomorrow too.”

On the Giants’ true grit: “That’s what the nation hasn’t seen yet. Seems like all the baseball talk is East Coast. That’s the way we played all year.”

Does he allow himself to think about winning this series? “Not yet man. I’ve seen crazy things.”

He said Brian Wilson said in the dugout going into the bottom of the 9th, “We’re going to win this right here.” And then Huff, confused, asked, “Did we go extra innings?”

On Buster Posey: “He has one of the greatest right-hand swings in baseball if you ask me.”

“Halladay is such a stud out there. This (Thursday) is a big day to get it done. We don’t want to take a six hour flight the next day.”

“You got to give them (Phillies) credit. They battled. It was one of those classic games if you ask me.”

Are the Giants destined to eliminate Philadelphia? “I don’t want to say anything. I’m not a big guy to jinx things. We got to win one more game. We’ve got a big game with Halladay. He’s one of the best out there. So is our guy starting tomorrow. “

On Uribe’s throw in the 9th:  “I don’t think a guy’s changed a game more than a guy coming in in the ninth than he has in a long time. It was an awesome throw. I didn’t think there was a chance he’d even throw it. He made a strong throw and pretty accurate. He hit the sac fly. He was definitely a good weapon off the bench.”
