I made two predictions: 1) the Giants will win the NLCS. 2) they would close out the Phils on Thursday night at home.

I was wrong on the second, the less important prediction of the two. I still believe they will win the series.

But let’s say I’m wrong on them winning the series, too. Would you prefer I don’t make predictions? I am happy to stick my neck out for things I believe in. If I’m wrong, so be it. But I’d rather predict than be afraid to predict. It’s part of my line of work.

I’ll tell you something else. If the Giants get eliminated I’ll be proved wrong. They’ll be proved more wrong.
