Pablo Sandoval will not start in tonight’s Game 6. He’s not starting even though the Phils are pitching a right hander, Roy Oswalt, and Sandoval hits better against righties. This shows how far Sandoval has fallen. Bruce Bochy does not trust him to hit and certainly he doesn’t trust Sandoval to field. It will be Uribe at third and Renteria at short. Sandoval’s career with the Giants may be in jeopardy. He’s only 24 and could not keep himself in shape. Will he learn as he gets older? I wonder.
