With pleasure I read that John York said he is committed to Mike Singletary for the rest of this season. Last week the Prince of York said the same thing. And Singletary says the 49ers can win their division. All of this is helpful information.

The Niners should retain Singletary and make no changes this season. That way they and everyone else can see what a poor choice they made in hiring Singletary. After the season, the Yorks can hire a real general manager who will hire a real front office. After all that transpires maybe the Yorks can attract a real coach. Of course, the Prince would have to sign a paper saying he never will get involved in football matters ever again. He can work on the stadium. Or he can work on his stamp collection.
