Bochy must bench Burrell for tonight’s game. It’s not only all the strikeouts. It’s that Burrell isn’t even touching the ball. He swings through. He’s clueless right now. He’s a disaster in the fifth spot. If Bochy plays him — a nutso move — he’s got to put Ross ahead of him in the batting order. Come on.

Also, this is a big outfield in Texas, too big for Burrell. Bench him. Bochy could play Schierholtz or Rowand or he could put Ishikawa at first and let Huff DH. Anyone but Burrell.
