I’m at home today but I watched Mike Singletary’s presser on TV. He said about a million times that the 49ers’ bad play “is on me.” He meant he’s responsible.

On Sunday he kept ducking answers and saying he needed to look at the film. That was a joke and people were laughing at him as he deserved. So today he tried to correct the impression that he ducks responsibility and doesn’t know what’s going on. That’s why he said it’s on him. It was more of a public relations move than anything substantial or really meaningful.

And the truth is it is on him. He’s a crummy coach. And that’s why he gets fired when the season ends.
