Johnnie Lynn, special assistant to head coach Mike Singletary and 49ers secondary coach isn’t so special anymore. He left the team for personal reasons on Tuesday.

Let’s keep count. Three players already left the team for personal reasons or whatever — Michael Lewis, Kentwan Balmer and Glen Coffee. One coach got fired — Jimmy Raye. And now Lynn is out. I wonder if he got fired but they told him to say personal reasons. It’s a possibility. Who knows?

All I know is people seem to leave Mike Singletary’s 49ers in droves. Not a good sign or a stable sign. Singletary will join them soon when he gets forced to leave. He won’t leave for personal reasons. He’ll leave for professional reasons. He’s not good enough at his chosen profession.
