The 49ers proved, once again, they are not worthy of making the playoffs even if by some fluke they make the playoffs. After the Chargers game, another horror, Mike Singletary seemed detached. I believe he knows he’s out and he’s going through the process of disengaging emotionally. He came in like a lion and is going out like a lamb. He had no right to come in like a lion as he never had proved anything. I wrote my Friday column about him and about all the chances vs. the Chargers the Niners had but blew.
