Trent Baalke just met on the sideline with half a dozen reporters. He confirmed he met with Jed York Saturday for a couple of hours at the 49ers Santa Clara facility to interview for the GM job. He has not yet been named GM but he appears to me to be the front runner even though Jed said he would do a national search and spare no expense. While I was there Jed did not appear to answer questions.

Baalke said other stuff, nothing astonishing. He requested the rest of the interview be off the record.
