I am thinking of writing my Sunday column (I will write it Saturday) about the emerging debate about whether or not to trade Stephen Curry. We discussed this Thursday night on Comcast. I said if it comes to a trade I’d trade Ellis. Scott Ostler doesn’t want the Warriors to trade either one. Greg Papa didn’t take a stand but when I suggested trading Ellis he raised an eyebrow. Ostler said the Warriors should keep both guards and get a center who plays great defense and blocks shots. I said as good as Curry and Ellis are, they are not an elite backcourt because they are too small.
