The Santa Rosa Press Democrat just posted my Sunday column. In the column I raise the painful subject of which guard the Warriors must trade to start making strides toward being a good team, a team that matters. I have nothing against either of their guards, Stephen Curry or Monta Ellis. They are good players but, together, they are not a good backcourt. I’m not sure Ellis, finally, is a winning player. Sure, the Warriors need to do many things to improve. They should start by trading Ellis for a center — good luck — or a big No. 2 guard who can guard the other team’s best offensive threat in the backcourt.
